About the NELT Hub
Who we are and what we do including our vision, our team and our experience.

The role of the NELT Teaching School Hub
Our Hub exists quite simply to offer fantastic training and development for aspiring, early career, and experienced teachers.
By offering outstanding professional development at every stage of their careers, we aim to equip, enable and inspire teachers and leaders across the North East to be exceptional in their field. This is an exciting opportunity for our region and we will work hard to make it a success.
We will engage with schools and other partners to ensure our work builds on the existing excellent practice and responds to local needs. This will include building on our existing relationships and networks as well as forging new ones.
Our vision
The NELT Teaching School Hub is part of the wider North East Learning Trust multi-academy Trust. We share a single, overarching vision across the Trust that "Every child experiences excellence every day." Everything our Hub does ultimately works towards this simple common aspiration, which we have not only for children in our own Trust schools, but for all children across our region.
